Everybody can write. Not everyone can be a writer. Not every writer gets published. Not every published writer gets commensurate recognition for their work. Care to learn the art of rewarding writing? Register here.
The Synopsis: The Chapter 20 Workshop is formed from a need to help writers move not one, not two, but several steps ahead. There is an overwhelming volume of writing talent in every crevice you turn towards, yet a decline in quality of written works, affirming the notion that talent is not enough. At C-20 Workshop, we hope to be the muse, the gentle hand guiding you towards honing your craft, pitching your work, believing and accepting the beauty of your craft, and much more. As they say, come on board!
The Outline: The Workshop, staged on an online platform, will span the length of three hours. Sessions will cut across how to apportion the right measure of value to your work; the necessity of consistency in writing – and in anything worthwhile – and how to sustain it; the strategies of submissions (journals, magazines, contests, agencies, publishing houses); the unspoken truth about writer’s block.
Some important sections to be covered include:

Truths about writer’s block
The sessions would be concluded in literary tasks, engaging the lessons shared during the duration of the classes. As is expected of literary workshops, there would be writing exercises, because what is a writer without writing?
